Our Mission

We help the local community thrive and survive by providing donations through books, school supplies, flip flops, backpacks, and more.

What drives the mission:

—It starts with idea!

—Align idea with what is needed in an organization, reach out and discuss

—Build community support and generate interest

—Collaborate with local businesses and nonprofits to raise donations

—Coordinate deliveries, Covid protocol, transportation

My Story: Belle LaQua

I am a community activist collaborating with nonprofits and local businesses around San Diego County to provide primarily books, backpacks and school supplies to children in need, expanding donations to collect flip flops and other resources for children and families in need during the pandemic.

I started my nonprofit Bellesbookdrive several years ago in 2014 to fill the need in the community for children getting access to books. Starting with book drives, we donated thousand of books to local San Diego County community centers and preschools such as Kroc Salvation Army Community Center, and non profits aiding migrant children such as South Bay Community Services (SBCS), Casa Familiar and Catholic Charities, and expanding to aid homeless centers for families and outreach such as Alpha Project.

Belles book drive identifies non profits in need of aid and collaborates with community members and businesses to make it happen. As President and Co-founder of my high school Entrepreneurship club, I utilize my skills to engage businesses to support those in need! I have a voice, and want to make it count!

I have a voice, and want to make it count!
